Guests in Leicester in 1999
|
His Holiness Amiya Vilasa
Maharaja visited the yatra for the 2nd time. Maharaja was also able to visit the
Nottingham Nama Hatta group during this visit (7 May), where he gave a wonderful and
inspiring talk. Everyone was much enthused by his presence.
Maharaja stayed one night at the house of the 'Nandha' family and the second night at the 'Pujara' family in Nottingham. Both families felt very much blessed by his presence. On Saturday Maharaja accepted an invitation for lunch at Radhakanta's and Manjulali's home in Leicester. |
On Sunday we had his very much
appreciated presence for our morning and afternoon programmes. It was a slow turnout, even
though the programme was announced in advance. Maharaja pointed out during his afternoon talk that the congregation should take advantage of such a wonderful facility by coming on time and by participating in the devotional services offered. Despite his frail health Caitanya Nitai Prabhu kindly aggreed to drive Maharaja back to the Manor on Sunday evening. |
You are cordially invited to come to this year's
Cultural Evening on Sunday
