The Leicester ISKCON Hare Krishna temple will be launching its very first CD on Wednesday 17th December 2003 at the Hare Krishna Mandir at 6 pm.
Devotees have made a professional studio recording of an album of devotional songs, following the standard set by Sir George Harrison who died last year, but inspired thousands through his divine voice. The title of the album is ‘Follow Your Heart’. Those who had a chance to listen to the album have been thrilled by the experience.
Devotees from the temple will begin a European Tour in December to promote the CD to the intensive interest it has raised in European countries.
Residents in Leicester have been organising various fundraising events to support the cost of the CD. Those who would like to donate money can call fundraising co-odinator Pragnesh Lakhani on 07980810370.
The president of the temple Gauranga Sundara Das said ‘we are overwhelmed by the response we have received from people all over the world, we may even travel to the far East in the new year. We are receiving phone calls from everywhere, it has been amazing’

- A press launch has been organised on 17th December 2003 at the Hare Krishna Temple, 21 Thoresby Street, Off Greenlane Road, Leicester, LE5 4GU at 6.30 pm. The opportunity to take photographs and interviews will be available.
- 5,000 CDs have been produced with a cost of £2,500. Various activities are being organised to cover the costs.
